If you are planning to visit Darjeeling and want to experience the Colonial nostalgia, then book your stay at the Windamere Hotel. And if you are visiting during Christmas, then you can’t miss their Christmas week celebrations. Each year, performers from the famous West End Theatre District, London entertain the audience. This year, “The Totties” will be performing at the Windamere Hotel.

So does Ayisha Manzil. This place was built in 1862 by Murdoch Brown and was known as the Judges Bungalow. The hotel has a Victorian architectural style and is best known for its untouched antique charm.
